MP for Sedgefield Phil Wilson has been listening to the concerns of constituents about the possible closure of Trimdon Village surgery.
Whilst no application for closure has been formally announced, it is known that Skerne Medical Group are undertaking a full review of all of their sites, which could result in the closure of Trimdon Village surgery.
Phil has written to NHS England and is going to meet the Chief Exxecutive of the Sedgefield CCG to discuss the issue. He will also be launching a petition in the near future, and will be looking for your support.
Trimdon Parish Council are also concerned about the threat of closure, as are Trimdon’s County Councillors. Both the Parish Council and the County Councillors will all work together to ensure Trimdon has the best possible primary medical services it can get.
More information will be forthcoming.
